There has just been a Panorama documentary on about the ‘scandal around breast implants‘. This is obviously of great interest to us because we specialise in cosmetic breast surgery and use a lot of breast implants. I certainly do not want to appear that I am trying to play down any adverse reports or cover […]
It is not uncommon for people to enquire about laser excision of a mole here at the Staiano Clinic as I think that sometimes people feel that it is somehow better than surgical excision. Anything with the term laser in it is deemed to be futuristic and therefore better than the old-fashioned ways, and indeed […]
It is not uncommon for us to see people here at the clinic who have had surgery many years before. Typical examples would be patients who have breast implants and may now have some problems with them or would like a different size or shape, or maybe a patient who had a breast lift many […]

We are in a society where patients want to be as well informed as possible, and so the onus is on us as doctors, to provide as much good quality information as we can. That is why I go to great lengths to be open and transparent to make myself available for questions every Tuesday […]
I have just finished submitting my audit figures to the BAAPS (the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons) which is something I have to do every year as a member of BAAPS. This means that there is a central body that collects all of our data to look at the number of operations we are […]
